All Mountain

A very beautiful tour through the entire Val Bregaglia, from Chiavenna to Casaccia (altitude 1400 m) and return.

We start out from the centre of Chiavenna, initially along a stretch of cycle paths and then onto dirt tracks and trails, to reach Castasegna, as we enter into Switzerland. Continuing through the valley we will also find some downhill sections on single-trail and, entering into pine and birch forests, we reach Casaccia, the last village in Val Bregaglia located below the Maloja Pass.

Here we have various options for the return journey, with more or less demanding downhill sections, mixed with single-trails, mule tracks and dirt roads, following the "Maloja Express".

Before reaching Chiavenna, we must definitely make a stop at the beautiful Acquafraggia waterfalls, where we can enjoy a refreshing cool-down!
